Ligon Magnet Middle School
Race Starts/Finishes on Haywood Street
Sunday, April 28, 2019
Ligon Magnet Middle School’s Bolt for the Blue 5K/1 Mile Color Run is a fun road race and PTA fundraiser open to the entire Raleigh Community! A Community Health Fair highlighting education, information and fun activities for all will be held before, during and after the race. With the goal of creating a healthy community through exercise, this year’s event will not only help families work up a sweat together it will also raise funds to support Ligon’s Food Ark Junior Program- a holistic food/supply center housed with our school to help families in need and is open to the community.
This IS a timed race, but feel free to enjoy the course at your own pace – run, walk, jog, skip, dance — the point is to get outside and MOVE and have a great time. We will be having fun raising money for Ligon while building community and showing our children the importance of exercise. Come and be a part of this experience!
Registered students, teachers & staff will automatically be entered into a weekly drawing for great raffle prizes.
